| Dear California Bowling Writers,
I am the Family Readiness officer for 1st Battalion, 7th Marines stationed in 29 Palms. I would like to thank you from all of us for what you are doing to help support our troops. Thank you so much for the phone cards, we are passing them out to our Marines as they deploy in the next few days. We received them from Anita Neu-Fultz at the Armed Services YMCA on base, who also does an amazing job in supporting us here on base.
Dear California Bowling Writers, I wanted to thank you so much for your kind and generous gift that you have given to the many Marines that are deploying next week. My husband will be leaving this coming Monday, and I am so appreciative that we have a calling card to use so we can talk to one another! The calling cards become very expensive over the deployment, and your donations really help! Thank you!! My husband just resently deployed, and i found out about the calling cards from a friend! I just wanted to tell you that i think what you, and anyone else involved, did for my husband and i, and all of our friends, was incredible!! It was great and i really want to thank you for it!
